Spring rains...what to do?

I'm sort of in a funk. Its drizzly, cloudy and dull outside. Cool too. I felt like making pictures but I'm not at the studio and even though I'm itching to go shoot at that old rusted car spot out west (it's sweet! Old Packard, Stude's, and lots of cool stuff), Today is not the right day. So, I wandered the backyard with my cat and took a few pics. I decided to stretch my photo processing software legs and here is the result.

All of these were taken with my Fujifilm X-Pro1 and the Fujinon XF 60mm f/2.4 Macro (equal to a 90mm full frame field of view). Its a great lens. This picture was processed with Color Efex 4.0 from Nik/Google Software. I used Iridient Developer for RAW conversion on all the pictures here.

I tend to use an array of software depending on what I'm after effects wise. For people I pretty much stick with Lightroom 80% of the time, Photoshop 5- 10% used with a few VSCO pre sets. When it comes to landscapes, nature, or other stuff I will open the kimono and use On One's Suite, VSCO's toolkit, Nik's Effect's suite which Google bought and other stuff I'm offered to try like software from Topaz. If you have any questions, I'm fairly proficient and would be glad to try and answer up.
